Stress Management Seminars
Wellness For Corporate America
STATISTICS: In a 2000 Annual “Attitudes in the American Workplace Study” VI – the study found that:
-80% of workers feel stress on the job
-50% of workers want help in learning to handle stress in their lives.
-25% of workers felt like screaming on the job due to stress
-In 2001, stress cost business 300 billion annually - absenteeism, job turnover, poor performance
-Imagine what the numbers are today!
Let’s take this down to a personal level – stress has been linked to impaired immune response, depression and illness. It has been proven that stress is dangerous to the body and spirit.
There is so much literature out on stress that we could go on and on with endless statistics -- but, we can summarize in a wonderful quote from Renee Dubos - “What happens in the mind of man is always reflected in the disease of his body”.
And sometimes, we don’t even realize that we are under stress. But we are….and our body, or our relationships, or our spirit, or work performance bear the brunt of this.
Our corporate wellness programs range from dynamic and entertaining 30-60 minute key-note presentations to 2-hour key-notes with break-out sessions, plus four weeks of group tele-coaching. We also offer a full day of information and education involving story-telling, role play, and movement exercises, creating a holistic approach to learning and greater retention.
In our De-Stress America Seminars, we walk participants though our 12-step process that reduces or eliminates unwanted stress almost immediately.
